posted this on our forums but I guess I want more input than that can give so
I'm posting the thread here as well.

"Goose and I have been discussing the idea of making some walls and a battering
ram. I was thinking something like 6 five foot sections. Maybe make it have a
center that we could bust through with the battering ram. Goose wants to try to
include a part that people could stand on and use ranged weapons and spells off
of. No melee would be allowed for safety reasons. This would have to be
brought up at an Althing because we want to use the coffers to finance it. What
do you guys think?"

Lowan posted
"I think your largest problems are going to be ...

1) Cost to construct, but this, once met, is done.
2) Safety of construction, as you plan on having it be 'combat-platform-safe'
for ranged/casters. If you make it only a couple feet high, it's not that big
of an issue, though, just *say* it's 10 feet up, or whatnot.
3) Storage. Who's keeping it where?
4) Transport. How do you get it from A to B?
5) Upkeep/maintanance. Eventually, it'll need some, and this can be really
simple if you make it with basic/easy-to-get material. Alternately, if you make
it all crazy-janky, it can be a PAIN to fix.

So, all the doom-and-gloom aside, I think this is a sweet plan of action, I'm
just tryign to give you a list of obstacles to overcome. Beat these challenges,
good sir, and the prize is YOURS! As well as 10,000 EXP and 1500 GP. Ding!"

I then posted
"We could store it at goose's and walk it to the field. I was thinking
something like five feet high."
